72 Marshall Township (part) including Marshall town
All of precinct No. 1 and that part of precinct No. 3, which lies east of the public road, which runs from Marshall by way of Rector's Chapel to Gudger's Mill on Sandy Mush Creek.

73 Marshall Township (part)
Excluding Marshall town. All of precinct No. 2 and that part of precinct No. 3, which lies west of the public road which runs from Marshall by way of Rector's Chapel to Gudger's Mill on Sandy Mush Creek.

76 Middle Fork of Ivy Township (part)
All that part of the township lying to the east of the following described line; commencing where the line between Middle Fork and West Fork Townships crosses Ivy Creek, near the old Sol Brigman mill, thence up and with Little Ivy Creek to the junction of Middle Fork and Paint Fork Creeks, where the Asheville Burnsville road crosses the same, then up the said Burnsville road to the point of the first ridge, thence with said ridge which divides the waters of Paint Fork from the waters of Middle Fork to the Yancey county line.

All that part of the township lying to the west of the following described line: commencing where the line between Middle Fork and West Fork Townships crosses Ivy Creek, near the old Sol Brigman mill, thence up and with Little Ivy Creek to the junction of Middle Fork and Paint Fork Creeks, where the Asheville Burnsville road crosses the same, then up the said Burnsville road to the point of the first ridge, thence with said ridge which divides the waters of Paint Fork from the waters of Middle Fork to the Yancey county line.
