Beginning at the southwest corner of the county; thence north along the west boundary of the county to the north line of the county; thence northeasterly along the county boundary to the line between ranges 15 & 16 east; thence south along said line to the line between town 16 & 17 ** thence west to the northwest corner of T. 16 N, R. 14 E; thence south to the summit of the Bolt Mountains; thence westerly along the summit to the place of beginning.

24 Deerfield district
Beginning at the southwest corner of T. 17 N., R. 16 E.; thence north to the Missouri river; thence down the Missouri river to the mouth of the Missouri river; thence up the Musselshell river to the line between T. 16 & 17 N. thence west to the place of beginning.

25 Philbrook and ** district
Beginning at the southwest corner of T. 16 N., R. 16 E., thence south to the summit of the Bel** Mountains; thence easterly along said Summit to the line between R. 16 & 17 E.; thence north to the line between T. 16 & 17 N.; thence west to place of beginning.

26 Cottonwood district
Beginning at the northwest corner of T. 16 N., R. 17 E thence south to the summit of the Snowy Mountains easterly along said summit to the line between R. 19 & 20 E.; thence to the northwest corner of the T. 14 N., R. 19 E., thence west to the northwest corner of T. 14 N., R. 1** E., thence northwest the northwest corner of T. 16 E., R. 17. E.; thence west to place of beginning.

27 Lewistown district, incl. Lewistown village
Beginning at the southwest corner of T. 15 N., R. 18 E.; thence north 12 miles; thence east 12 miles; thence south 12 miles; thence west 12 miles to place of beginning.

28 Edge, Maiden, and Grass Range district
Beginning at the northwest corner of T. 16 N., R. 20 E.; thence east 24 miles; thence south 24 miles; thence west 24 miles; thence north 24 miles to place of beginning.

29 Flat Willow district
Beginning at the northwest corner of E. 16 N., R. 24 E.; thence east to the Musselshell river, thence up said river to the line between T. 11 & 12 E.; thence west to the southwest corner of T. 12 W., R. 22 E.,thence north 6 miles thence east 12 miles; thence north 24 miles to place of beginning.

30 Lavina district
Beginning at the northwest corner of T. 11 N., R. 22 E.; thence east to the Musselshell river; thence up said river to the line between R. 21 & 22 E., thence north to place of beginning.

31 Halbert and Highfield district
Beginning at the northwest corner of T. 12 N., R. 21 E., thence south to the Musselshell river, thence northerly and westerly along county boundary to the line between R. 16 & 17 E.; thence north to the summit of the Snowy Mountains; thence easterly along said summit to the line between T. 12 & 13 N.; thence east to place of beginning.
