All of the above must remain if copied or downloaded. ========================================================================= The researcher should note that the Enumerator did not fill in the X-columns correctly. These are the columns which show who attended school, who was married within the year, who could read/write. Instead of putting a mark in the column on the line for each of the household members, he wrote a total number in the appropriate column but only on the Head-of-Household line. The sad part of this is, we know the total number for a given household, but not which members in the household should have an X. Sometimes by elimination you can figure it out, sometimes you can't. Perhaps there was a communication gap and the Enumerator was given incorrect instructions, or he could have misunderstood the instructions.
