The Americanized spelling of HÖRNER would be HOERNER. The birthplace for Philip (age 7) appears to have originally been written as "At Sea" but was scribbled out. Possibly overwritten with Ohio. The birthplace for lines 7 - 10 were ditto marked. The birthplaces for lines 2 - 4 was written as Germany. A descendant has informed us that this family came from the state of Rhein-Pfalz. ===========================================================================
