The very first page is torn so that the names are missing beginning midway down the page. In most cases only initials are used for first names. It is impossible to tell the difference between an "I" and a "J." On page 20 there are seven vessel masters in a row. The gender and ages in the "household" would seem to indicate that these are ships in Buffalo harbor. Capt. Wm. T. Pease was yet a batchelor in 1830 and was master of the steamer Niagara. ==========================================================================
