Missouri February . Ill from Birth . -------------------- ENUMERATOR'S-REMARKS -------------------- The health of this Subdivision ahs been comparatively good. Fever and Agua prevailed during the Fall months, but not so an unusual extint for a new country. The winter is generally below first quality the Springs lying very near. The Streams and below high water mark. Good water can generally be obtained by drinking wells at an average depth of 40 feet. The soil in the Eastern half is 1st rater. In the Western half 2nd & 3rd rater. Limestone and Boulders abound and appear in great profusion on the brows of bluffs and hills. The limestone is well adapted to building purposes. No rural growth of the region. Cottonwood, Elm, Hackberry, Burr Oak, Walnut, Hicorys, Sycamore. Wild Locust and Linn.
