If you find your family in this census, I encourage you to look at the original 
microfilm if at all possible.  This census taker's handwriting was very difficult 
to decipher and many of the well-known local surnames are consistently misspelled.  

It was impossible to differentiate between abbreviations such as "Jas." for James 
and "Jos." for Joseph, so your ancestor "Jas." may be listed as "Jos."  Please 
consider this my best effort and a good resource, but if something you find here 
doesn't match information you have from other sources, by all means try to look at 
the microfilm.
