ENUMERATOR REMARKS: The pricipal production of the County are corn, wheat and tobacco. Stone coal is found in abundance in many parts of the county. The lands are rolling and the soil is good. The Timber is mostly oak and poplar in in Anderson Township, in the balance of the district it is hickory.
