The principal timber is oak, beech, sugar, walnut. As some parts of the district *** with limestone water in the fall. There is a good deal of chill & fever. For the last two winters we have had the winter fever or as some of our physicians call it, the cold plague or congestive fever or typhoric. There is a difference of opinion in regard to the cause of the disease, m*** treatment proved most effectual.
