W. Childs. Mr. Childs had a lot of problems trying to keep marks in the proper column. I have tried to note these errors but you may need to look at some entries yourself to make a final judgement. Mr. Childs also liked to make a lot of lumps in the middle of names. In most cases it is impossible to tell whether Daniel is spelled with an m, or two n's. I have tried to record exactly what he wrote, but I feel sure that he meant Daniel and Samuel. In some cases these wild lumps make it impossible to know for sure what the name may be. In those cases I have listed a number (but not all) of the possible interpretations for the name. Starting on handwritten page number 25 someone else wrote in the page #'s, county, PO, and all names on the page. This unnamed person had much better spelling, handwriting, and managed to put things in their proper columns. He also spelled out the Birth Place completely.
